In 1949 Joe Lee and his family came to Valdosta with $2,500 borrowed from an uncle. Joe opened Lee Typewriter Company where he sold Royal typewriters and Victor hand operated adding machines. After 37 consecutive years Mr. Joe Lee retired, passing the torch to his only son Hank Lee. Hank continued the family legacy through good and bad economic standing, a few name changes and many other obstacles. Hank continued selling office supplies, office furniture, and office equipment for 39 years. That brings us to today.
