In 1949 Joe Lee and his family came to Valdosta Georgia with $2,500 borrowed from an uncle. Joe opened Lee typewriter Company where he sold Royal typewriters and Victor hand operated adding machines. After 37 consecutive years Mr. Joe Lee retired, passing the torch to his only son Hank Lee. Hank continued the family legacy through good and bad economic standing, a few name changes and many other obstacles. Hank continued selling office supplies, office furniture, and office equipment for 39 years. That brings us to today.
Continuing the Journey
In January of 2025 Daniel Bayman purchased the Lee office company with the promise to continue serving the place he has called home for all of his life and the surrounding areas. While the world around us may change daily the morals and values of Lee Office have stayed the same since 1949.

Joseph H. Lee founded Lee Typewriter repairing and selling cutting edge technology at an affordable price for residents of south Georgia
- 1986
The family legacy continues as Hank Lee; Mr. Joseph Lee’s son takes over the business. Hank along with repairs and typewriters begins to sell office supplies growing the family and business name.

After careful consideration and years of friendship and mentoring Daniel Bayman purchased Lee Office in January.
- Our Future
Rapid growth in clients and revenue has allowed Mr. Bayman to expand across south Georgia and north Florida.
